The Fuchsia Nursery of Rosi Friedl was founded in 1988,

and this nursery is very recommendable to Fuchsia-Enthusiasts as me.

Her repertory is about 1000 specimen of Fuchsias and then some 70 specimen of ivy.

To get to this nursery by car one should have a good road description, or a GPS-System or should invest some time searching… but its worthwhile by all means. If one want to avoid this, one may order the hybrids through internet and will be served with reliable delivery within Europe, with superior packaging, from March to October, depending on the weather. More information about this, beside many photos, are available on her website. There are some expositions each year throughout South-Germany and Austria, and Mrs. Friedl will have a small selection- to her standards- there for sale. If contacted early enough, she will deliver orders at that occasions.   This is what her greenhouses in Markt Intersdorf looked like this year in July:

The Fuchsias are placed in alphabetical order. In many cases not only the breeder is mentioned, but there are as well more informations and photos. If that might be not sufficient, and Mrs. Friedl is available, all questions will be diligently answered. If not close by, all of her employees will be of service. And there are some informations in writing available at the checkout.

Don´t be in a hurry, take your time- a lot of it- to inspect the whole offering. And, by experience, it takes some time to decide which beauties to take home, as they are often available even in larger plants like bushes, half-regulars ore regulars. Therefore the decision is quite often a hard one, leading ultimately to a larger buy than initially planned. Requirement to this is of course enough space in the car, so better come with light luggage!

The delight with Fuchsias was inherited by Rosi Friedl from her grandma as a child, an cept growing ever since.
